I love the Tolerability Index and this week I find the “Have you heard of curling?” one hilarious. Actually, curling is very popular in my hometown and we’ve had at least one Olympic athlete and several high school students go to national competitions. I don’t curl, but it was the sort of thing I assumed EVERYONE in the U.S. knew about until I turned 7 and realized that no, not every town has at least one curling center.

I also thought that our local news was broad casted nationwide, so I was DEEPLY scarred when my uncle in California didn’t see a short clip on the local news about the summer camp I went to that I was in.   Ah, to be young and think the world revolves around your town of 1500 people.
